12. What do you like least about your school?
Overall Summary
  • Poor facilities such as computer labs and libraries. No mentor and career counseling services.
  • virtually no resposability for real patient care. the school says you don't need to speak hebrew and that there are translators...but this is entirely untrue. You can get by, but you lose out on real clinical skills NONE of the $25,000 tuition is used for our education.
  • -not much actually but from what i've seen the people who have enjoyed their experience the most are: easy going, want to learn, and have a strong motivation to study outside the US. if this is u than this is the place for you and u will have a great time -some pple complain about financial aid office - personally its been totally fine and no complaints whatsoever -the medical library is ok for studying, but not amazing compared to a private american university library, but its an essential part of the experience

13. Please share any other thoughts you may have about your school.
Overall Summary
  • - It's a new school, so I don't expect all the services to be very well developed yet. It's not possible to comment on what future changes may be.
  • Avoid this school at all costs. Most US programs have programs which allow students to have as good or better international experiences than MSIH. Its great on paper - or website - but in reality, it is horrible. Other students are afraid to come out against the school for fear of arbitrary academic penalty, and because they would be making our school...and ourselves look bad. Its a catch 22.
  • as an unbiased 4th yr (as i've had my duels with admin) i can honestly have a had a great time here. made friends and met people i would have never met otherwise. the teaching was above average - except a few lecturers - but every school has them. if u love to travel and see different things its for you. if u demand a certain way of living (ie ur anal) - then u may have a tougher time. speaking to friends its waaay better living environment than other foreign medical programs - there's pretty much everything u need with relative ease (books/internet/phone/groceries/bowling/etc) -and to refute another person's comments here - people don't speak badly about the admin or school because frankly there's not much to say negatively. not for fear of academic reprisal, which is a beyond silly claim. grow up - your grades are based on how much (and the way) u study, period. oh which reminds me, there's great psychiatrists here. anyways.... :) its a great/amazing opportunity for studying outside america for the outgoing and adventurous.
