1. What do you like best about your school?

  • -The teachers don't just teach in class, they will help on weekends, afterschool hours pretty much anytime. The school is still small so its like a family working together.
  • The teachers are nice and very helpful. They take time out to help students 1 on 1; sometimes even hold extra classes to help students. They are easy to approach and always have a smile on their face.
  • that they give me the best education i could ever get.they teach everything what i need to know for step 1 n further..basically an all round development for a student..
  • Faculty is highly qualified, MDs or PhDs in their specialies, easily accessible, cooperative, and give individual attention to students, academic environment in the school. School management is very cooperative and listens to the students.
  • the location , the teaching environment & very helpful management and talented teachers
  • ASUM Aruba is in one of the best Carribean islands, school is located in the best location, easily accessible to the students accomodations, teaching staff is experienced and specialists in their disciplines, management is cooperative and helping. In short you learn medicine in the Happy Island , I call it HEALTHY Island when you are in ASUM Aruba.
  • Small class size, clinically oriented basics, just like in the boards
  • ASUM Aruba has undergone dramatic changes in recent times since new management has taken over. They have highly qualified specialists in their teaching team. Professors are very cooperative, and take extrapains in teaching. Studend involvement is there in administrative affairs. Computer labs are being upgraded.

12. What do you like least about your school?
Overall Summary
  • Need to get loans organized to help funding.
  • Since its a growing school, there is always a lack of space every semester but that problem should be solved once the school builds its new campus in Dominica.
  • nothing so far that i dont like about my school....
  • There should be more extracurricular activities during off hours.
  • gives very little time to enjoy.. timing of school is like 9-4pm followed by usmle review 4-6pm. .. sun sets so cannot go to beach everyday.
  • I do not have anything to say which I like least about the school.

  • The school is building and growing in all the right directions, it will take time, but at least the school provides everything needed.
  • bright future on ONE HAPPY ISLAND!!
  • If I have to recommend any carribean medical school to a friend or relative, ASUM Aruba is the one I will refer to. They have very good basic sciences training in Aruba and clinical rotations in the States.
  • very friendly and academic atmosphere , faculty & other staff is very cooperative, easily approachable both during & after school hours.
  • The school is having an excellent academic environment and they also promote students involvement in extracurricular activities.
  • This school is upgrowing and has progressed a lot in recent times, they have an updated e library containing hundreds of e books in addition to tradional library, very good academic environment and central location. Students are helped in getting educational loans. Student counselling is available.
